About Us

In a small town like ours, we know there aren’t a lot of options – often, any other options! – to get things like prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, home care items, even bandages and sports braces when you need them the most.

That’s why we do our best to stock a variety of items in our pharmacy (and IGA grocery store) for your ongoing health, business, home, and personal needs.

Not to mention, when you come in, we work hard to get your prescriptions filled quickly and give you the best service around. We want our time and needs valued when we’re on the other side of the counter as customers, so we are committed to doing the same for you!

We’ve been serving Stillwater County since 1975 when my dad, Paul, took over Columbus IGA ("Matovich IGA" back then) from his father, George, and added a pharmacy to the store. When my dad was in need of a pharmacist in 2004, my wife, Becky, and I moved back to Columbus and started running the business, eventually evolving and building it into the pharmacy you know today.

Our pharmacy is now excellently managed by David Gillespie, with 7 great pharmacists, 8 pharmacy techs, and 4 pharmacy clerks working alongside him to serve our patients and customers. Becky and I work behind the scenes to make sure our operations run smoothly and efficiently and I also head up an organization called Montana Family Pharmacies that we started to help independently-owned Montana pharmacies better serve their friends, families, and neighbors.

Like so many of you, I grew up here and am proud to raise my children in a small town and be a part of our community.

If you have a question about a product we carry or the prescriptions and pharmacy services we offer, or are looking to transfer your prescriptions to us, give us a call at 406-322-5652 or fill out our contact form and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!

Thank you so much for your support and patronage – it means a lot to our family and our staff!
